For any designer wanting to produce a high end luxury leathergood, then cordovan shell is the right pick for you. Measuring a 1.2mm thickness, cordovan is most commonly used by high end footwear manufacturers and its soft suppleness properties combined with its none-creasing characteristics also make the leather ideal for bags and wallets. The small hides measure approximately 2 square foot and available in 6 rich colours including:
Olympia Panel Hide
Pittards Olympia is suitable for several purposes; Not only is it suitable for saddle making but it’s soft, supple and water resistant properties make it an ideal candidate for fashion trims such as aprons and jackets. The obvious print stands out and looks unique when used with other materials such as denim and canvas.
Tooling shoulder is the perfect article for embossing, dying, carving, shaping and its rectangular shape means minimal wastage. This natural full grain vegetable tanned leather has a super smooth grain which lends itself wonderfully to small leather goods including bags, knife sheaths, menu covers, straps and can also be incorporated into furniture such as leather table tops.

The Norwegian Upholstery Hide is extremely durable while maintaining a soft and subtle feel. They are tanned as full hides which makes them ideal for when large pieces of leather are required for example, the interior of a car or the restoration of a chair or sofa. Sizes typically vary from 45 square foot to 55 square foot and offers a great spectrum of colours including:
Bridle shoulder is extremely versatile in its application. Strong, waxy and weather resistant, Sedgwicks bridle shoulder is one the best. Fit for the construction of bridles, briefcases, belts and furniture, such as chairs. Despite its strength and durability, bridle shoulder remains fairly flexible allowing it to be handled and worked on with ease.
